Certificate preview
Your club’s registration certificate, as a PDF.
Add your club’s seal, enter your club and animal names, and download a registration certificate template. No account, and nothing to install. The sample cat, dog and reptile records are made up, so you can see the layout before your own studbook is involved.

Certificate made with Breed Ledger's free tool
Made with Breed Ledger's free certificate tool. Not verifiable on breedledger.co.
The free tool
What you get, and what you do not.
The free tool draws one standard certificate layout with your club’s name and your seal on it. You choose a sample species, type a registered name, and download the PDF. The seal is optional, and a certificate with no seal prints without one. The seal is used only to draw your PDF.
The PDF is a sample. The registry details are fictional, there is no QR code on it, and its footer says it is not verifiable on breedledger.co. Nobody can check it against a registry, because it is not a record of one.
Why it matters
A certificate is only as good as the registry behind it.
When members, buyers and other clubs see the same layout, the same seal and the same number format on every certificate your club issues, they learn what a real one looks like. A certificate that changes shape from one registrar to the next is easy to copy and hard to trust. Setting the layout once, and drawing every certificate from the studbook rather than from a template someone retypes, is what keeps the record and the paper in step.
With a subscription
What a Breed Ledger subscription adds.
Issued from the studbook
A certificate for every registration the club approves once your club turns on certificates, made from the studbook record, so the name and number on the paper are the ones in the record.
A QR code and a public verify page
A QR code on each newly issued certificate that opens a public verify page, so a buyer or another club can check it.
Reissue and revoke
Reissue with a recorded reason when a detail changes, and revoke a registration when it must come off the books. The verify page then shows it as revoked, and its certificates as void.
A seal set once
Your club’s seal set once in settings and used on every certificate.
