For reptile organizations
Registry Software for Reptile Clubs
Reptile registries need more than a dog pedigree screen with the nouns changed. Breed Ledger can resolve species-specific morph, locality, genetics, and husbandry-linked context while keeping the organization in control of the fields it actually recognizes for registration.

What a reptile registry replaces.
Morph, lineage, and ownership stay on one controlled record.
Morph spreadsheets
Registered identity, morph description, genetics, lineage, breeder, and ownership can remain on one controlled record.
Social-media proof
Members can point buyers and peers to a public registry record and linked pedigree instead of a post or screenshot.
One-off event forms
Club membership, animal registration, and show entries share one member and animal history.
How a reptile registry goes live.
One path from the club's configured species and fields to approved records.
Choose context
The organization enables the reptile species, terminology, fields, and capabilities relevant to its registry.
Register
Members submit animals, lineage, morph or locality details, and supporting evidence.
Review
Registrars apply the club rules and resolve corrections before approval.
Use
Approved animals become available to member records, pedigrees, public search, and event workflows.
Questions to ask a reptile registry vendor.
A reptile registry should handle morph, genotype, and locality, and a species without configured genetics, without borrowing another species.
- Can the registry distinguish morph, genotype, phenotype, and locality where applicable?
- Can species without configured genetics fail safely without borrowed defaults?
- Can an organization decide which reptile-specific facts are required or public?
Proof from a working reptile registry
The Gold Standard Gecko Club opened its member-facing registry in June 2026 with registrations, dues, event entries, pedigrees, and payments running through Breed Ledger.
Dusty has been beyond helpful in making my vision for my gecko registry come to life. He has been available at all moments and executed as we planned. We still have more work to go and honestly couldn't be happier with how it's going!

The platform supports configured reptile species including multiple geckos, pythons, boas, hognose snakes, corn snakes, and bearded dragons. Available genetics and field detail vary by species and never fall back to another species model.
Yes. Breed Ledger can run the member portal, registry, and payments behind the website your organization already uses. The public portal can also run under your own branding.
Yes. Migration can start from spreadsheets, exported database files, PDFs, and scanned records. The mapping and review plan is agreed before members are asked to use the new registry.
Organization plans are $49, $99, or $199 per month based on member, animal, event, and support needs. Payment processing applies only when the organization collects money through the platform.
